Remant Cool Logistics at AFFI-CON 2026

We look back on a successful edition of AFFI-CON 2026, the leading business event for the international frozen food and cold chain sector, held in San Diego. With more than 1,700 participants and over 500 companies under one roof, it was once again a record edition for the American Frozen Food Institute.

This year, AFFI introduced the Supply Chain Forum for the first time, an exclusive program for leaders in the cold supply chain featuring in‑depth discussions on market trends, risks, fluctuating tariffs, logistical challenges, and innovations.

Remant Cool Logistics was a co-sponsor of this new initiative. Thanks to the strong turnout and engaging program, the Supply Chain Forum immediately proved to be a valuable addition to the traditional AFFI-CON program.

Our presence

Jan Vermeiren and Peter Van den Broeck engaged with visitors on-site. They emphasized how crucial it is to manage reefer transport, where turnaround time and temperature control are central, through a single specialized partner. Their message aligned perfectly with the themes of the Supply Chain Forum: optimization, sustainability, and risk mitigation.

Networking and new opportunities

As with every AFFI-CON, this edition was fully dedicated to targeted business networking. With more than 40 one‑on‑one meetings per participant, the event remains the place to strengthen existing partnerships and discover new opportunities.
